Titicaca Catamaran Cruise

The sacred Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world and lies between Peru and Bolivia. The famous Isla del Sol (Sun Island) is said to be the cradle of the Inca culture and it is believed that this is where the first Incas (Manco Capac and his sister Mama Ocllo) emerged!! The Inca creator Viracocha had his children spring from the waters to found Cusco and the Inca dynasty. On this 1 day trip you visit the Isla del Sol and enjoy the natural beauty of the lake with the Andes mountains towering in the background.

La Paz – Isla del Sol – La Paz
A bus will pick you up at your hotel at 06h30 to take you to the port of Chua. Here you embark on the Catamaran Cruise and breakfast is served during the trip to Isla del Sol. Once arrived at the Isla del Sol you visit the Jardin del Inca, Gradas del Inca and the Fuente Sagrada del Inca and you then return to the Catamaran for a cruise on the Lake Titicaca where lunch is served. You then return to Chua where the bus is waiting to bring you back to La Paz. Cruise: 5h30/Bus: 3h00. Visit: 2h30. B/L

Dates: Because of the location of the Lake Titicaca the weather is generally good all year round therefore this trip can be done anytime. For most of our other tours in Bolivia the best time to travel is between March and November so if you wish to combine this trip with another program please do not hesitate to contact us directly for more information.
